The FT3425 is a light meter designed for a wide variety of applications, including illumination equipment, lighting work, and facility management.

The FT3425 can even test LED lights, and it is equipped with five measurement ranges, ranging from 20 lx to 200 000 lx, allowing it to measure luminance levels at a wide range of luminance levels. It also is equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology.

A Z5023 Extension Cart is used to support the FT3424 and FT3425 Lux Meters, as it has casters to greatly improve the efficiency of multi-point light inspections.

To perform final building inspections for proper illuminance, normally two inspectors are required, and one is required to stand and crouch repeatedly to capture the correct data. By allowing just one technician to complete a job without physical burdens, the Z5023 saves time and effort.

This optional Extension Cart Z5023 has casters for easy mobility. By allowing the instrument to be moved without having to squat down, the physical burden associated with making repeated multipoint measurements is greatly reduced.

Measure illuminance free of the effects of shadows

1. Timer hold function

The measured value is retained after a user-configured period of time has passed since the time the TIMER key was pressed. In this manner, you can time lux meter measurements to occur after you have stepped away from the meter so that clothing and shadows will not affect the measurements.

Timer settings:

Select from 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 / 45 / 60 sec.

After the set time has elapsed, the measured value is retained. → The backlight turns on and the beep sounds for 3 sec.

2. Measurement with sensor and display units undocked

Displays and sensors can be undocked for more convenient use. Simply connect them with the Connection Cable L9820 (option).
